We were asked to interview a variety of people on our first day of Media Lit. The interviews were about media... awesome. I asked my younger sister Kimyen, 16, David, 22, Danielle, 18, my mom, and grandpa Paul. I asked all of them four questions. One of the question that I found really interesting was "What is media?" Everyone pretty much answered that media is a source of information. I, too, thought it was just the news, newspaper, etc that provides infomation or the lastest gossip. However, I learned the next day it was more than that. Media is logos advertisment, everything... Like this blog. I think.. >.<>everybody> wants it. Not surprisingly, everybody gets their media on t.v or the "hot" thing now a days... ready for this.... dun dun dun the INTERNET! That's where I get mine. I think tv is overrated. I don't watch tv unless I really want to see my all time favorite show.
I think media is overrated too. No just kidding. I just like the word overrated. Actually no. Media is too much in our lives even if we don't realize it. You know magazines shows these super duper UBER skinny girls and make them look like they are "perfect" which of course no one is perfect. Then the girls who sees these twig barbies look alike and are they OH EM GEE! I wish I could be like her... you know what I think? No. Definitely a NO. Technology is so up there that the girls on the magazines were most likely photoshoped. You know what I mean? Photoshop is too cool by the way. :)
This is my first time blogging. I have no experience what so ever. So I hope this blog isn't bad.. I guess and hopefully this is what Mrs. Sheldon was looking for.
